Learning to skate from Level 5

You've excelled now! Lets keep going.

Level 5

Forward crossovers. Whilst gliding around the circle on your outside edge, place your outside foot onto the inside of the circle. Then, move your first foot backwards and lift off the ice, placing it back down.

Forward outside 3-turn. This is tricky and you'll see many people practicing this around the ice rink. On a circle, do a very good outside edge. During this edge, you want to be looking at the center of your circle. You'll be quite twisted, which I struggle with. Then, like a two-foot 3-turn, do your little bounce and move your foot around to make it face backwards now. You'll get it eventually! Don't give up.

Backward chasses. Remember our forward chasses? The same, but backwards! On a circle, stroke backwards around it. Then, lift your inner foot a little once you've bought them back together.
